Teddy Seasonal History Guide

Teddy’s holiday trail is longer than people expect from a 2020 escape game. The live badge set still lists gifts from the first winter, egg hunts, chocolate jokes, candy loops, and a 2025 hatch. This page is the archive. For a live overlay, use events.

Winter

Secret Gift (2020) is the early flex. Christmas Challenge (2021), Santa’s Little Helper, Santa’s Bounty, and later Christmas Quest rows show that winter came back more than once. If you own one and not another, you did not “miss Teddy.” You missed a specific December. Do not spend August looking for a tree that is not in the vote.

Spring

Egg Muncher (2022) ate all eight eggs and unlocked Stomper plus a basket hat. Extra Large Victory (2022) is the chocolate-balloon escape. I LIKE CHOCOLATE (2023) closed that Easter. Chick Escape and Easter Epic (2024) saved hatchlings — Epic asks for a family of five in one round. Egg Eater (3 April 2026) is the newest chocolate joke: you ate a chocolate egg, and more than a million accounts hold it. These were play badges, not catalog codes. If a spring lobby returns, treat it like any event: known chapter, AI, extra pickup last.

Candy and jokes

I LIKE CHOCOLATE (2023), Candy Run, Candy Completionist, Candy Crusher, Extra Large Victory. Some of these have tiny award counts. That usually means a short window or a completionist extra, not a secret keypad in Nursery. If you see a candy counter, finish the chapter first.

The Hatch (2025)

Official text: you found the egg in the official Roblox event The Hatch. About 588,000 awards. Window: 2–12 July 2025, Connection biome. It is not Chapter 5. Full desk: The Hatch. If it is dark now, it is history. If it returns, it will show in the lobby, not on a coupon blog.

Candy Run (December 2025)

Three official rows from 12 December 2025: first run (~470k), all six presents (~15k), and 100 successful runs (a few hundred). Play badges, not typed strings. Full desk: Candy Run.

How to use an archive

Compare your inventory to this list using the badge checklist. Anything missing and not live is a maybe-next-year. Anything missing and live belongs on events. Anything you already have can be ignored when a friend says “we have to farm the 2020 gift tonight.”

Do not buy scripts that promise old seasonal grants. That is the Scripts Hub conversation and a good way to lose the account that holds the badges you already earned.

How to read a missing row

A missing winter badge in August is normal. A missing Chapter One badge is a skill night. Do not mix those feelings. If a friend says every seasonal toast is required to “finish Teddy,” they are collecting, not escaping. Collecting is allowed. It is not the Guides Hub.

When a name returns with a new year in parentheses, treat it as a cousin, not a duplicate. Tick the new row. Keep the old one. The badge checklist can hold both.

This archive exists so August does not feel like a failed Christmas. Teddy is a released Roblox game, and its holidays are a diary. Read the diary. Then go play a chapter that is actually in the vote.

Talking about years

Say the year when you name a toast. “Christmas Quest” alone starts a fight. “Christmas Quest 2024” asked for presents on the five maps that existed then — Pizza Place was not one of them. The Updates Hub is for live patches. Dedicated desks: The Hatch and Candy Run.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers players ask after a failed escape.

Can I still get Secret Gift from 2020?

Only if the event is running again. Otherwise it is archive. Check [events](/updates/events/).

Why are some candy badges so rare?

Short windows or extra completion steps. They are not proof of a hidden promo code.

Is The Hatch a new chapter?

It is a named 2025 event badge. Do not confuse it with [Chapter 5](/guides/chapter-5/).

Where do I track what I own?

Roblox inventory plus the [badge checklist](/tools/badge-checklist/).

Is a missing winter badge a skill problem?

No. August is not December. A missing Chapter One badge is the skill problem.

What if a name returns with a new year?

Treat it as a cousin row. Tick both. Do not delete the old toast.
