Teddy Chapter 3 Toy Store
Bright aisles, named tools, and a parent who will not wait in the parking lot forever.
Toy Store is the chapter people relax in because the lights are on. That is a trap. The layout is simpler than Camp, the timer is often talked about around seven minutes, and the bear still ends a sprint between aisles. This is also the first map with tools you will not see in Nursery: batteries and silver tools. If you treat them like junk, you will stand at a dead interact until the clock does the hug for Teddy.
Vote and story beat
Vote Toy Store after Camp or after a confident Nursery streak. AI is the classroom. Player Teddy loves the long aisle sightlines. Nightmare in a store is a comedy of small bears in stock rooms — funny to watch, poor for a first badge. Read Nightmare if the lobby insists.
The cutscene is a parent-and-toy beat. Listen for the leave condition. You are not here to window-shop every plush. You are here to finish the named interacts and walk out.
Batteries and silver tools
When you see a battery, it belongs to a powered interact on this map. Carry it to the object that looks like it wants power. When you see a silver tool, it belongs to a panel, grate, or locked fixture that a colored key will not open. Do not hide these in a toy bin “for later” unless a teammate is already standing on the interact. Call them. “Battery register,” “silver back room.”
Keys still exist. Color still matches locks. The how to escape ring sweep still starts near spawn. Clear the front of the store, then the stock wing, then the objective that the cutscene hinted. People who run the parking-lot fantasy first die in a decorative corner.
Aisle movement
Aisles are shooting lanes for a large mesh. Cross at ends, not mid-aisle, when audio is close. Crouch along low shelves if you need to disappear. Do not jump the displays. Jump is loud and tall. Controls again: Left Control is the store skill.
Close stock-room doors. A human Teddy will honey the door you used for both the battery and the exit. Keep a second path in mind. If the floor is sticky, you are in a trap from how to play as Teddy.
Last lock in a bright room
Brightness makes the last door feel safe. It is not. Walk. One person interacts. One person watches the aisle. If a teammate is down, leave. Chapter Three’s public win rate sits in the low single digits for a reason: people treat it like a mall simulator.
The video in the middle of this page is a real Chapter 3 session, not a collage we invented. Use it to see aisle pacing, then finish the chapter checklist with text so you are not pausing every interact.
After the store
Mark the badge. Chapter 4 Zoo is the wide exam with fish and cogs. If the group is messy, replay Toy Store in AI until batteries feel boring. Boring tools are how you survive the zoo’s extra toys.
Buy store-themed faces later in the shop. A new face does not locate a battery.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers players ask after a failed escape.
What unique items are in Toy Store?
Batteries and silver tools, plus the usual keys. They power or open map-specific interacts. Do not vendor them in a bin.
Is Toy Store easier than Camp?
The layout is kinder. The sprint habit is not. Bright maps hide fewer bears than you think.
How long is the round?
Community notes often cite about seven minutes. Play like the timer is shorter than your shopping list.
Should I split the aisles?
Split search, stack only for a lock. Mid-aisle stacks are one hug. See [how to survive](/guides/how-to-survive/).
