Teddy Events
When the daycare puts on a holiday hat, play the extra objective first.
Teddy events are short overlays. The bear is still the bear. The chapter vote still matters. A candy cane or an egg is an extra interact, not a new genre. This page is the live-event desk. The museum of past names sits on seasonal history.
Is an event live right now?
As of this writing, treat events as check the lobby. Tracker sites often show nothing on the calendar even while the place remains popular. If the vote screen or shop shelf shows holiday props, it is live. If they do not, it is not. We will not invent a “Summer 2026 bear festival” to fill this paragraph.
When something is live, it will also show up as a badge toast after you finish the extra loop. Compare the name with the badge list.
How to play a live event without wiping the chapter
- Vote a chapter you already know. Nursery plus an event is kinder than Zoo plus an event.
- Vote AI unless the group wants chaos.
- Do the normal escape route from how to escape.
- Add the holiday pickup as a last ring, not as the first sprint.
- Leave. Event badges do not require a wipe on the final lock.
If the event asks you to collect many candies or eggs, split the work. Stacking six kids on one spawn is a hug. The hide-spot tool still applies when the bear walks the same holiday path you are farming.
Events are not codes
Holiday blogs will publish strings. Teddy’s history is badges-for-play. Open the Codes Hub if you must, then come back. A keypad in an event chapter is still a puzzle.
After the shelf closes
You keep the badge. You keep the cosmetic if it was a grant. You do not keep a private instance of the event unless GnomeCode leaves it up. That is why we screenshot names onto seasonal history. When the next Halloween lobby appears, you will know whether you already own Secret Gift energy or you are looking at a new toast.
Hosting an event night
State the extra objective once. Vote a known chapter. Ban Nightmare unless everyone already owns the chapter badge. After the holiday pickup, leave. Do not farm a counter while the bear learns your loop. If the event needs many pickups, split pairs and meet at the exit, not at spawn.
If the overlay vanishes mid-week, you keep the toast you already earned. You do not keep a private instance. That is why we archive names on seasonal history. Screenshot the shop shelf if you want proof for next year.
If no event is up, play a chapter. The Updates Hub and the Guides Hub are the correct tabs. The bear does not need a holiday to hear you sprint.
Recent overlays worth naming
The Hatch was July 2025. Candy Run was December 2025. Egg Eater was Easter 2026. None of those are live just because the toast still sits on your inventory. Chapter 5 Pizza Place is a numbered chapter, not a holiday hat.
If the calendar is empty
Play Chapter 1 Nursery tonight. An empty event desk is not a reason to idle in the shop.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers players ask after a failed escape.
Is there a Teddy event this week?
Only if the lobby or shop shows it. We do not invent calendar rows. Recheck this page and the Roblox place.
Should I vote Zoo during an event?
Not if you want the event badge. Vote a map you already clear, like [Nursery](/guides/chapter-1-nursery/).
Do events add promo codes?
Historically no. They add badges. See [codes](/codes/).
Where did last year’s candy badge go?
It stays on your inventory. The map overlay may be gone. Names live on [seasonal history](/updates/seasonal/).
Should we split for candy counters?
Yes. Stacking six kids on one spawn is a hug. Meet at the exit after the pickup.
Do event items replace keys?
No. Do the chapter route first. Holiday pickups are last. The [chapter checklist](/tools/chapter-checklist/) still applies.
